In case you missed the news today, Target has announced its plans to open at the former Kmart at 6865 Hollister in Goleta. The retail giant will take over 132,000 square feet and employ over 200 people with an opening scheduled for 2019.

Meanwhile, Santa Barbara's neighborhood Target is under construction and slated for a grand opening in October. Not too far from the future Target in Goleta, HomeGoods will be opening at the Camino Real Marketplace on August 19th filling the former Sports Authority in the popular center.
