Chasing The Buzz

Now that masks are going out of style, local bars are making moves! Cutler's Artisan Spirits leased 10,600 sf at 418 N Salsipuedes (formerly Telegraph Brewing) and has plans to open by this summer. According to public city records, there is a high-end bar & restaurant planning to open in Montecito featuring lots of outdoor lounge space...stay tuned for more. Augie's Agave, a tequila distillery, is working on their permits at 700 State Street (formerly Panera Bread) which is guaranteed to liven up this block of State Street even more. Speaking of tequila, Fiesta is ON! (how was that for a transition?) Plans for this year's celebration have been unveiled and include La Fiesta Pequena, Las Noches de Ronda, the rodeo, an arts and crafts show and some other traditional events and parties. Sadly but understandably, there will not be a parade or the normal mercados.
