New restaurant Gala is coming to 705 Anacapa Street with a soft opening this month! From the owners of Picnic in Barcelona, Gala will feature a cocktail bar and seafood focused menu and will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Azul Cocina and Cantina has officially opened at 7 E Anapamu Street, serving a modern twist on Mexican cuisine -- can't wait to see that rear patio back in action! Lilac Patisserie is close to finalizing the deal on their second location, bringing their gluten-free goods to Montecito in the former Mesa Burger building.

On Upper State, Lama Dog & Sama Sama are teaming up for a new location where La Rumba night club was located, while Brass Bear opens their second location at the former Cafe Stella property adjacent to Santa Barbara Golf Club.
