Santa Barbarians are about to have some new options for masked-up grocery shopping! Bristol Farms, Lazy Acres' sister store, opens today at the La Cumbre Plaza Shopping Center on Upper State Street. On the other side of town, in the former Trader Joe's, east side residents are getting a long-awaited Sprouts on September 2nd. Who will have the longer outdoor wait time remains to be seen.

In other grocery news, the Whole Foods on upper State Street is on the market for sale. A cool $51.7M will get you this 30k square foot grocery store with 15 years remaining on the lease. The same property sold last December for $43.8M with a shorter remaining lease term.
