Food and entertainment sectors are starting to show signs of life! A new sushi restaurant is coming to the Arts & Theater District at 1305 State Street. Formerly Roost and Downeys, this new restaurant will be brought to you by a long time chef from Montecito's famous Sakana! Apertivo, a new Italian wine bar, has just opened on Haley Street next door to local favorite Oat Bakery.

In other downtown news, starting November 5th, the city is initiating a new State Street Promenade "Shop Local" Market which will occur every Thursday from 3-7:30 PM on the 1000 block of State Street.

Last, but not least, the Museum of Contemporary Art reopened last week and you can now book private tours online!
