The Hyatt Centric, the 200+ room hotel across from East Beach along Cabrillo Blvd, just sold for $87.5 million, (over $430k per room). The new owners will undertake a significant remodel and update rooms and amenities that will take place in 2019.

Hopefully, they weren’t planning to get their construction materials from Orchard Supply Hardware. OSH announced this morning that they are closing all stores nationwide, including our local store in the Fairview Shopping Center in Goleta.
