Tyger Tyger, the latest addition to the Funk Zone, opened recently and features Vietnamese- and Thai- inspired food, Dart Coffee and MonkeyShine ice cream. Downtown, Cafe Ana will open in the former Coffee Cat space on Anacapa, and Crush Tasting Room & Kitchen is open on Haley Street – both offer multiple wine and food options. Vicenta's, the newest concept from Los Agaves, opened at Camino Real Marketplace in Goleta and Ca' Dario is rumored to be opening in Montecito.

Not to be outdone, Carpinteria also has a new spot to check out, Teddy's By the Sea took over the former home of The Nugget on Carpinteria Avenue.
