The 1100 block of State Street has two new eateries to check out! Caribbean restaurant, Embermill will soon open their doors at the old Aldo's Italian site. Directly across the street at 1026 State, Oppi'z Bistro and Natural Pizza has opened in Palazzio's former space.

Down towards the beach, The Public Market's famous taco spot, Corazon Cocina and Goleta's popular brewery, Captain Fatty's have teamed up on their second locations to create "The Project". They opened their doors to patrons officially last week at 214 State Street after many months of remodeling. Also undergoing a major renovation and opening in the coming weeks is Oku at 29 E Cabrillo (most recently El Torito). This California Asian cuisine is brought to you by the owners of Opal!
